Okinawa Seminar for August 2020: Pre-registration Required

Three seminars in Okinawa (Yui Nakijin, Ryukyu Do Ai and Nuchinu Ryukyu) originally scheduled from August 21 (Fri) through August 26 (Wed) are combined into one and renamed as Okinawa Seminar to be held from August 22 (Sat) through August 26 (Wed) at Okinawa Sen-in Kaikan.

This seminar offers 2 sessions each day, one in the morning and the other in the afternoon, and changes participants for each session.

Pre-registration is required to attend. For registration, please send email to info@uezu.net no later than July 25 (Sat). In email, please include your name, address and phone number along with the info of which day (also specify which session, AM or PM, if you have preference) to attend.

*No seminar on August 21 (Fri) and Q&A only on August 24 (Mon)

If the application volume exceeds the venue capacity, the organizing staff will decide which registrations to accept by lot. Applicants will receive confirmation email by August 3 (Mon) whether/how their registration is accepted.

Please keep in mind that any part of the seminar schedule may change in response to a possible second surge of COVID-19 in Tokyo and other metro areas throughout Japan.

Osaka Seminar for August 2020: Pre-registration Required

Osaka Sora-no-kai seminar for August 2020 will require pre-registration.

To register, send email with your name, address and phone number to soranokai2019@gmail.com by Friday, August 7 Wednessday, August 12 (extended). Registration will close once the application volume reaches the venue capacity (320 pax).

Applicants will be notified whether their registration is accepted or not as follows:
▪ Applications submitted before July 31: Confirmation will be sent on August 1
▪ Applications submitted during August 1 – 12: Confirmation will be sent on August 13

Applicants will be notified whether their registration is accepted or not on August 13.

Kanto Region Seminars for August 2020: Pre-registration Required

Following 3 seminars in the Tokyo-Yokohama metro area for August 2020 will require pre-registration.

Again, these seminars offer 2 sessions, one in the morning and one in the afternoon, and change the participants for each session.

If the application volume exceeds the venue capacity, organizers will decide which registrations to accept by lot. Applicants will be notified whether their registration is accepted or not no later than a week before the seminar date.

Nakashibetsu Seminar for August 2020: Pre-registration Required

Nakashibetsu Yasuragi-no-sato seminar will resume in August 2020 with preventive and safety measures against COVID-19.

To manage the maximum capacity of the venue, pre-registration is required to attend any session of the seminar.

If the application volume exceeds the venue capacity (90pax), the organizing staff will decide who attends which session and inform applicants in advance. So please note that you may not be able to attend all requested sessions in that case.

For registration, please send email to info@uezu.net by July 10, indicating which session(s) you would like to attend. You will receive confirmation email no later than July 24.

Shared Meditation Hours

For those who want to share the moments with Mr. Uezu and others while doing meditation at your place, we have confirmed that he usually sits for meditation in the following hours (in Japan Standard Time).

From 6am to 7am in the morning
From 9pm to indefinite time in the evening

Mr. Uezu emphasizes that you don’t have to stick to these time periods, so find the best time for you as appropriate to do meditation. Also, please note that he may not be able to make it in these hours sometimes.

He then gave us the following message: Let’s stay together and get over these difficult days as one!

India Seminar in September 2020: New Schedule

After discussion with Mr. Uezu, we have decided to postpone the Indian seminar to September 2020 as follows.

We will still pay close attention to the development of the situation and make necessary adjustments when necessary.

To the registered:
Please read the following new arrangements, and take action based on the current situation and experience of previous itinerary arrangements.

Flight Arrangement
1. Please try your best to purchase tickets of the following new recommended flights to facilitate airport pick-up and drop-off arrangements. You can choose any of the recommended flights below regardless of your nationality and residence.
2. In view of the complexity of the airport pick-up arrangement, we do not arrange airport pick-up for students who choose other than the following suggested flights. Even if the arrival time is close to any of the recommended flight, we ask you to arrange transportation from airport to the hotel in Delhi on your own.
3. Those who live in countries other than Japan, China, Hong Kong and Taiwan (no recommended flights) are not subject to the above article#2, but please also try to choose a flight with an arrival time close to and before the recommended flight.
4. Also to avoid the complexity of the itinerary, please try to buy the same flight ticket as your roommate at hotel.

Cancellation Policy
1. If you want to cancel your registration, please confirm with the staff by April 15, then we will refund the full amount.
2. Cancellations on or after April 16 will be cancelled as normal, that is, the full amount will not be refunded.
3. After April 16, we will decide whether to open the waiting list considering the actual situation.
4. If you cancel by June 30 and we could fill your spot with an alternate participant, we will allow you to transfer your registration with a 20% administrative fee (based on the total tuition and travel fees); If the transfer is unsuccessful as of June 30, it will be deemed canceled and the full amount will not be refunded.
5. After June 30, no more registration transfer nor change of flights, accommodation, etc. will be accepted.

As a part of infection-control measures against new coronavirus (COVID-19), Okinawa Senin Kaikan, the venue of Ryukyu Do Ai and Nuchinu Ryukyu seminars, requires all its guests and visitors to wear a face mask inside the building.

Please bring a face mask with you and put it on at the venue and inside the building all the time. Thank you for your cooperation.
